Summary

The Process Safety Leadership for Senior Executives course provides participants with the tools to develop a detailed understanding of the business case for effective process safety management. It will offer a clear insight into how to promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation through the effective engagement of the workforce.

The course has been specifically designed for Senior Executives and Board Members of hazardous facilities, who are ultimately responsible for process safety performance within their organisation.

Details

The Process Safety Leadership course is a National Skills Academy for Process Industries accredited training course for Senior executive and designed to achieve the following learning outcomes.

• the business case for effective Process Safety Management
• the nature of major accidents and how hazards and risks are defined and quantified
• the key elements of Process Safety Management Systems
• assurance processes for effective risk management
• how to promote a positive Process Safety culture through effective engagement of the workforce
• the importance of good Process Safety leadership principles and how to implement them
• how to achieve continuous improvement in process safety performance

Our approach to training requires active engagement of participants to promote measurable and sustainable improvements in process safety management. The integrated workshops are designed to draw on the experience of those attending through a series of facilitated workshops.
